    Marty Pallas (Owner)

    After years of fighting both structure and wildland fire, Marty started this dream of owning a wildland fire contractor company. In his spare time, Marty enjoys being in the outdoors whether it’s hunting, fishing, or hiking he always has something going on. Married to his high school sweetheart, Kristy. They have 3 dogs, Aspen, Remi and Pearl who always go on adventures with them.

    Kristy Pallas (Owner)

    With years of bookkeeping experience, Kristy handles all the bookkeeping and management support. During her off time, Kristy enjoying spending time following her nieces and nephews sporting events around, hiking and just being in the outdoors. Married to her high school sweetheart, Marty, they have 3 dogs Aspen, Remi and Pearl

    Chad Walker (Owner)

    With a background starting in structure fire and then stepping into the wild land side of fire Chad has found his passion and lifelong career. Since then he has worked along side his brother-in-law to help see that Pallas fire thrives and continues to grow. With his wife Amanda and three kiddos, In his off days you catch Chad throwing a soft ball with his girls Willow and Oakly or riding bikes with his son Bentley. You can also find Chad hunting, fishing or snowmobiling in the great outdoors of Idaho.

    Jack Dachtler

    After graduating high school, he was introduced to firefighting by attending the academy back home in Ohio for structural fire. He decided to explore his passion for fire by joining Pallas Fire Suppression, which has also allowed him to explore his passion for the outdoors and different areas around the US. Jack enjoys hiking, working out, and spending time with his friends and family. Jack is young, ambitious, and is ready to learn from his peers!

    Fred Avila

    Fred started his career in Fire and rescue and moved over to Wildland Fire because it marks off everything he enjoys about the outdoors and traveling. On his off time he enjoys many things, from skipping rocks to backpacking. If you’re ever looking for Fred, you can find him along side his beautiful wife Kristina, working on their Sign and Graphic company or sleeping on the airport floor waiting to catch their next flight. Fred’s a unique guy to meet, and some will say he thought Star Wars was a documentary. But all we know, he’s our little churro.

    Zak Moats

    After starting out on a small local volunteer department Zak fell in love with the job of firefighting. He has done both wildland and structure firefighting. He always wanted it to be his everyday job and the opportunity arose when Pallas Fire started. Outside of firefighting Zak enjoys anything Powersports related whether it be dirt biking, snowmobiling or RZR riding he loves it all. He also enjoys camping with friends and family, he is always doing something outdoors

    Kristina Avila

    Kristina aka KK! watch her husband Fred become a Wild Land Firefighter and she wanted to tag along, do to her love for the outdoors and learn some new skills. she now in love with wild fire. In her down time she enjoys creating art with POSCA markers, hanging out with her dog Frodo and adventures with her husband Fred.

    Everett

    Everett began his fire career while working for Bellevue Fire Dept which raised his interest in wild land fires as well. This has allowed Everett to combine two of his passions, outdoors and helping those around him. During his free time he enjoys riding dirt bikes, snowmobiles, working on projects, and spending time with his niece Rylin. You can always count on Everett to lend a helping hand and crack a few good jokes while he’s at it! He’s an always on an adventure and will take on any challenge that come his way.

    Nick Schell

    Born and raised in Idaho, Nick has enjoyed finding himself in both structure and wildland firefighting. Always busy with something to do while back home he has become an avid gun builder and collector. Growing up in the mountains and keeping a close relationship with his family Nick is happy to be part of Pallas Fire Familia too.

    Derrick Beck

    Derrick was introduced to wildland fire and has loved everything about it. He enjoys being in the outdoors and helping people. When Derrick is not fighting fires or working his construction job, he spends his time riding his dirt bike, driving his truck, hunting, fishing, and golfing!

    Jerry Bullock

    Fly fishing with his wife on a river in the mountains of Idaho is Jerry’s idea of a perfect day. But for years, his true passion has been firefighting.  Jerry has been involved with fire both on the Structure and Wildland sides since the mid 1980’s. Jerry is at his best when he is fighting fire and protecting life and property. In 2022, Jerry and his family moved to Southeast Idaho and fell in love with all things outdoors.  When Jerry is not working on a fire you can find him and his wife somewhere trying to catch trout.  Jerry loves his 5 kids and the love of his life, Sarah.

    Jamie Hoover

    Started his career right out of high school following his father’s steps of being a firefighter. Jamie currently is the Operations Fire Chief with the Hailey Fire Department and assist Pallas Fire as their Training Officer. Firefighting and teaching are truly his passion. In his free time, Jamie spends most of his free time recreating in the wilderness with his family ranging from skiing, camping, hunting, or mountain biking. Wildland Firefighting will always be a part of Jamie’s heart.

    Steve Roth

    Steve started his wildland fire career through the Idaho army national guard, which led him to working heavy equipment for wildland and eventually to Pallas. He loves dirt biking, skiing, hiking, fishing, and the outdoors as a whole. Hes always ready for an adventure, and Wildland firefighting allows him to be in gods country while getting to play with fire, which is why He loves doing it.

    After having been involved in the behind-the-scenes operations of Pallas Fire from its founding by my aunt and uncle, Harlee wanted to join the excitement. She also an elementary school teacher who loves spending time with Her family and puppies. She is excited to spend her summers with Pallas fire while she is not working in the classroom.
